Assessment of microbiological quality and antibiotic resistance characterization of environmental Escherichia Coli isolated from Huong river, Hue city, Vietnam

Objectives: To examine fecal contamination indicators (total coliforms and fecal coliforms) by using the membrane filtration method. To find out each Escherichia Coli pathotype from contamined water samples. To characterize phenotypically and genotypically beta-lactam and quinolone-resistance Escherichia coli isolates from Huong river.
